I think it'd be great-so long as the fame didn't go to his head and he quit LP or something like that

Mike is a very talented rapper, to hear him at his full potential would be awesome throughout an entire album. I would love for him to do it. Like after the tour cycle is over for the next album have him do it then; release it like a filler album untill the next LP release, like LIT and Reanimation were done.

Mike's a talented emcee but I don't think he'd be able to make a solo album without a lot of help.

A solo album is pretty pointless IMO. A lot of people give the reason that he can show his true pottential if he was to do a solo project, but i don't see why he can't do this with LP anyway. Now before i hear cry's of Don Gilmore, Warner & random quotes about holding back w/ LP from Mike. Just think, why? If i was Mike, i'd try to have as much creative control as possible with writing lyrics and using them. We've seen him do great jobs on the HTEP (yeah, i know, not Warner.) and HT, so i can't see why he can't bring it on back for album No.3.

The bottom line is, i'd rather see him show his full pottential on a Linkin Park album, rather than a solo album.

I don't like the idea of Mike doing a solo album, but I'll buy it no matter the outcome. I believe it would be best if he focuses on the new LP album.
Also, there are alot of LP fans, like myslef, that are into the 'rock' side of Linkin Park.
I mean, other than the rap in LP's songs, I don't listen to rap music.

Solo albums usually cause tension among band members. I hope he doesn't do any albums without the rest of the guys.

Really, Mike's the glue that holds the band together. I think if he started to get distracted the band would fall apart.

I guess a solo album would sound great but I'd like lp to release their new album first.

I don't like the idea of a solo album, because Mike would get too carried away with it, and probably go solo permanently. Basically, the band would fall apart.
