Just trying to get some information/refresh my memory. Who is Mike talking about in WHEN THEY COME FOR ME? It's been posted here before, but it's been years and I can't remember. I know he's generally talking about the haters and them not adapting to the bands new style, so I'm not talking about that specifically. I would like to know about the people he's talking about at the start of the second verse.

"Lauryn said, money change a situation
Big said it increase the complication
Kane said, don't step, I ain't the one
Chuck said that Uzi weigh a motherfuckin' ton"

I kind of have an idea but I don't want to make assumptions and be wrong.

    Thanks for the help!

Each of those lines are references from numerous hip hop songs from the 90s.

The first line is a reference to "Lost Ones" by Lauryn Hill.
The second line is a reference to "Mo Money Mo Problems" by The Notorious B.I.G.
The third line is a reference to "Ain't No Half Steppin'" by Big Daddy Kane.
The fourth line is a reference to "My Uzi Ways a Ton" by Public Enemy.

This is a common misconception - it's a reference to a line from "Raw", not "Ain't No Half Steppin'".

It's "Miuzi Weighs A Ton", but, yeah. :)
