So, when LP start adding new songs to the set, what songs from the first four albums do you think will be dropped, or linger a little as a rotating song? Also, what are your thoughts on the guys adding a little more to the set, extending it to a 30 song setlist? Personally I think we could see the following songs being dropped: Papercut(rotating song) Crawling Lying From You(Possibly rotated but I think this one might could be dropped for good unfortunately) Breaking The Habit( I think it will stay but I think it could be a rotating song) From The Inside Leave Out All The Rest Shadow Of The Day Burning In The Skies Wretches and Kings The Messenger
I think a 30 song set would be too much honestly. For the band, not the fans! I really hope we see songs coming back to replace dropped ones. I wouldn't mind them playing some of the old non-single songs every once in a while (not every night, but possibly having one or two placeholders for random songs they just feel like playing for the hell of it). I honestly think they should keep playing Papercut, bring back Points of Authority, and completely drop Numb and Crawling. Numb is just so stale (I am biased seeing as how I didn't even like it on March 25th 2003), and Chester just can not do Crawling anymore. Sorry guys, but it's the truth. Listen to any live DSPs and compare them to the shows from 2003 and before and you'll see what I mean. I also wouldn't mind seeing One Step Closer dropped (blasphemy!).
Please don't drop Breaking the Habit ): But I can live with everything except for In the End being dropped.
This will most likely happen during the Summer Europe tour. However, LIVING THINGS is coming out at the end of June and the US tour following the album release will incorporate some of the new songs from the album into the setlist. I don't care what songs they take out to be honest but I hope they keep WTCFM on the setlist. I'd like to see some of the new music live.
This made me laugh. I don't get the hate for the whole Meteora album. I think a few of the songs are better than a few of the Hybrid Theory ones. Or do you feel it's bad overall because of Hybrid Theory?
The lyrics, the instrumentation, the presentation and the polish. EDIT: The cover art, the track names, the album title, the interplay between songs... EDIT 2: The overall quality, the consistency, the catchiness, the melodies...
I agree with this. I would like to see them rotate In Pieces or Valentine's Day into the set as well.
