A good portion of Linkin park fans that dont lend an ear to hip hop will hate this and also the idea behind it.

I'm definitely for it. Linkin Park has been so restricted under Warner Bros. Now that Mike is doing this side solo project, and is doing it under a label which is partly his (considered to be owned by all of Linkin Park), he can experiment more and we could see more of Mike's musical ideas. Everyone says Hybrid Theory EP was one of their greatest works...well that's because they had been Independent and had less restrictions and of course, made it more interesting. This is Mike's chance to break his restrictions and show what we, Linkin Park fans, have been waiting for.

So you hate side-projects. And even if the side-project is good you will still hate it just because its a side-project?

that linkin park = side projects

I dont mean to be rude but i think your just a rock type person and since this is hip hop its natural 2 go against it. Imean look at all the side-projects, theyve all been more hip-hop oriented (Reanimation, Collison Course and Fort Minor). So i can see why you dislike side-projects.

 

I would prefer Mike do a collaboration with Aceyalone, but this works.

Side projects like Frat Party and Live in Texas i like them.
But i think you are right.I am a rock type person so that's why i am against these side projects
