Green Day are hard at work on their follow-up to 2000's Warning. "We've got about 35 songs we're going to record," says frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. "We're trying to get one theme throughout the album, because we're in the album business, not in the business of making singles." The band hopes to release the as-yet-untitled platter in late summer or early fall. All I have to say is, "Hell Yeah"!
Ironically, I've been listening to Green Day for the past half hour, and (just now) "When I Come Around" To be a copy cat: HELL YEAH!
That's good news. I hope they go back to sounding like their older stuff too since Warning was a bit too mellow for me. When I Come Around is their best song!
That was BS, I believe. [/b][/quote] Total BS. It was some half-ass effort by some Green Day hater to get everyone riled up and shortly after the rumor was released Green Day confirmed that it was NOT true.
