Everybody has one, you're not fooling anyone. Mine is No Strings Attached, the recent one with Ashton Kutcher and.... Natalie Portman *swoons*
Not sure if these are 'chick-flicks', if at all but off the top of my head: - Bridesmaids - Definitely, Maybe - 500 Days of Summer ^ All great movies.
500 Days of Summer. Although I wouldn't consider a full on chick-flick. Btw, still haven't seen Bridesmaid.
I like quite a few chick flicks usually because they're really funny too. I'm not into soppy, cheesy movies at all but there MAY be one or two exceptions. Mean Girls Confessions Of A Shopaholic Bridget Jones's Diary He's Just Not That Into You Sex And The City Edit: Forgot to add Titanic, lol. Leonardo DiCaprio...
I like most of the films mentioned in this thread so far, and I want to see Bridesmaids, and I don't feel guilty about it at all.
Haha, nothing I do is a guilty pleasure. I enjoyed the following movies with pride: The Notebook 500 Days of Summer Love, Actually A Walk To Remember Where The Heart Is 50 First Dates The Time Traveler's Wife 10 Things I Hate About You Sixteen Candles
I haven't seen Bridesmaids, but I've been told it's not a chick-flick. The only thing it has in common with a chick-flick is most of the lead roles are females.
It seems to have other things in common apart from that, it's just a lot more adult and irreverent as well from what I can tell. If Mean Girls counts Bridesmaids probably isn't far off.
Yeah, I really want to watch Bridesmaids too. Are movies like "My Sister's Keeper" considered chick flicks? That was a sad movie.
500 Days Of Summer is perfect. I think of chick flicks as cheesy, sappy movies, though. No Strings Attached was also really good.
I think the only reason I'd feel guilty for loving No Strings Attached is a lot of people I've talked to actually trashed it (good to see someone other than myself and my girlfriend love it ).
