Well if you say the song is by Brand New, the only song that comes to my mind is "Jude Law and A Semester Abroad". If that is the right song, which I am not really sure if it is, the lyrics you posted are wrong. In that song it goes: Tell all the English boys you meet about the American boy back in the states Hope I somewhat helped!
