I would love for Blackout to be a single, but then again, I think Burning in the Skies would do better since I think people should buy the album to hear Blackout.
I'm absolutely torn between Burning in the Skies or Robot Boy, but for no particular reason my vote went to Burning.
I concur! No seriously though, Waiting for the end is a good choice but for others I would definitely have my two favourites off the album, When they come for me and Iridescent. I went for When they come for me though as I think it's inevitable that Iridescent will be a single.
The idea of turning one of these songs into a single really turns me off. The majority of music listeners are so retarded that I feel like they will be taking for granted how good these songs actually are. They just be like, "Oh, this song sounds cool! I'll listen to it while I play Warcraft!" And I feel like music as a whole is much more meaningful than that. LP put so much time into making an amazing album, and these people will just casually listen to random pieces of the puzzle? If I had to choose a song that has the best chance to attract the most longtime fans, I'd have to pick Waiting For The End.
LOL. Most epicest single ever! The video clip should be good..... But my vote goes for Iridescent, Burning in the Skies would also make a good single though.
Well, Waiting For The End has been confirmed as the next single, and I'm 99% sure that Iridescent will follow. So, I choose When They Come For Me.
I could see "When They Come For Me" as a single because it is something that the fans would like on the radio, even though it has a taste of uniqueness. I can see them make this a single and chop off the ending and make it roughly 4 minutes long.
I find that if this song is chopped for a radio edit it will lose its uniqueness, as all parts of the song are extremely relevant to the track. I think it should be fine being as it is, if it were to become a single, which would be awesome, because then I can add onto my collection even more
IMO, after "Waiting for the End" it should either be "Wretches and Kings" or "Blackout", and after that it should be "Iridescent". Again, IMO: I don't want to see either "Burning in the Skies" or "Robot Boy" as a single. They're too plain and I don't think they'd get much airplay.
Ummmm, why? The more singles an album releases, the more successful it is, generally speaking. If they only release three there'd probably be something wrong, given the sales of their previous albums. The album being successful is a good thing.
