I went into Hot Topic the other day for some LP merch, and I asked the lady working there. She told me that they don't carry anymore LP stuff because they broke up. Then I went to Coconuts, another music place, and they didn't have an LP merch either because ''They broke up''. WTF?
They're idiots. LP did not break up. Because it's been 3 years since their past album, peoeple who don't know anything assume they broke up. And saying "they broke up" is a stupid reason anyways for not selling their merch. Last time I was in Hot Topic, they still sold Nirvana stuff. Any idiot knows they're not together anymore
Go back in tommorrow and say the band has not broken up and that they are releasing a new CD in 2006. Then tell them to call whoever made that uneducated move and tell them to restock Linkin Park merch.
rofllecopterz oh my god, thats funny. never really liked hot topic anyways, they seem really emo and goth/industrial but then the people working there and customers are all blond/blue eyed kids who look like happy-go-lucky. basically what happens when you see the people running this country
Actually it is true believe it or not. Anyways, I did go back to Coconuts the other day and I explained to them that they have not broken up. The guys said he thought they did because of Fort Minor. And it was sort of cool because he actually liked TRT.
So you're telling me you decided to take a trip down to a music store to explain to one person how a band hasn't broken up, then went on your merry way?
I went there to purchase Curtain Call and I mentioned it there to the same guy who was there when he said he thought LP broke up.
What are you talking about? What does that have to do with anything. I always notice the Hot Topic I stop in once or twice a year has atleast 3 LP shirts.
