Topic title says it all. One of my college courses is web-based, and I have no problem getting onto the website for it on the school computers, but when I try to get on it at home, I get a prompt to open a .ISS file, and nothing I've tried works. I know it's some type of InstallShield file, but that's about it.

It's an install script apparently. Are you trying to install something when it asks?

It sounds like the site you're using requires software to be present on your computer. If you can access the site just fine on a campus computer, that means the software is on those computers, but if you can't access it on your home computer and you get that prompt, then it means the site is searching for that software and/or wants you to install it.

Eh, I got it to work. I just jacked the program files folder for the program it requires off one of the school computers, emailed it to myself at home, copied it here, and it works fine.
