Did they expect it to be a big hit or just to show to companies? If i had a time machine to go back to 1999, then could I just go to my local coconuts and buy it???
It was just to distribute to a small amount of people. There are only 1,000 copys of the real, original EP. The difference between the 1,000 copys of the original EP and the EP you recieved from LPU is the original has a small quote on the inside cover.
Linkin Park only made 1,000 copies of the EP, and they sent them around to random record labels around the country. The remaining copies were sent out to their growing street team. They re-released the EP in 2001 for the LP Underground, and the only difference is that it has a little background info on the LPU and the EP on the inside instead of the original artwork.
Try eBay, but look very carefully at the package because like Bryan said, there's a quote on the back of the packaging.
how can i cheer up because....I dont have the ep I have all the songs but its not the same as having the actual CD
Hey dont worry. I only have the songs on my computer. You need to have alot of money to be able to get that EP because they were selling the real thing on the UK e-bay a while back and it was really expensive. Look on the birght side, at least you have the tracks which is more than some people have
The EP is simply impossible to buy (or almost) and it's even not the original most of the times... Don't feel guilty not to have it, I don't and I have a reason (100 bucks for a 4 track CD, no way ) .
4? Try 7 . Carousel, And One, High Voltage, Step Up, Technique, Part Of Me, and the secret instrumental at the end of the EP that many have referred to as "Ambient".

Must....rob...admin..... :chemist: -j/k [/b][/quote] LOL! I wish I had the original too, but at least I still have the songs, that's what really matters.
Heheh, Tecnique is cool. You must exercise the proper tecnique! Heheh. Anyway, if I had EP, I would open it It would be worth less money, yes, but a CD is for listening...I would be far more happy being able to listen to the genuine thing rather than just say I have it.
to this day, I don't get why so many LP fans jizz over the original EP and whatnot. christ, the only difference, that i know of, between the original and the LPU versions are that the original has some kind of foreword or something. So it's an original, so what? I want the first copy of 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd, but I'm not going to pay $100 for it. That's insane and dumb.
