me and will were talking french to one another and i thoguht up the idea of this thread. are you bilingual?, trilingual? do you know any languages besides your native tongue? for me: Native Language - English Second Language - French (very fluent, that's what 6 years of french immersion does to you.) i'm interested as to what other languages you know, although i discourage you from actually speaking them.
My native language is English and I'm unfortunately learning Spanish. I'm not taking it as a class next year nor the year after that, but I'm hoping that the college I go to has Japanese on the curriculum. I'd love to speak Japanese. But, I might take French next year in place of Spanish, just so I can graduate with honors.
I speak English. I speak like a real Aussie a lot as well. It is different from English I also have been learning Japanese for 5 years. I can teach you a bit if you like Will.

English (and some times) Newfoundlander talk I was in French Immersion. But i was doing realy sh!tty, so i decided to drop out this year in to english stream but i can still translate french, not talk to well but translate pretty well(no wonder i have a 96% in french)
being half-french does have it's advantages my native is actually french (oh my) but I'm fluent in english..."Manchesterian" to be exact... I'm also now trying to learn Alsacian (The language people in the Alsace region sometimes speak...I'm not sure if it's an official language, but it's a mix of french and german) WAYHEY to being difficult!
oh my god, i hate newfie talk. it makes us look so unintelligent compared to everyone else. i'ma bout to go round the bay to joe batt's arm to catch me some fish. it's like hickish and terrible english accents mixed together, lol.
u got that right, i dont talk it very much, but it's in newfy blood, sometimes it squezzes a newfy word in to the sentence
I'm trilingual. First Language: Spanish Second: English Third: French - just a little bit, i cant remember most of what was tought, though (it's been 1.5 year since then.)
