From The INside I like how the song is kind of soft and mellow - not a ballad but softer than most of the other Meteora albums and then boom Chester just does the best scream on the album in it. It's a nice surprise. Papercut
Papercut I love Papercut because of the awesome energy, the awesome Mike raps, the good lyrics, and for it being on the best songs on Hybrid Theory next song: Easier to Run
Easier to Run "Easier to Run" had the most emotion out of all the tracks of Meteora, and then it slowly builds up to the epic "Faint". It's Goin' Down (The X-Ecutioners featuring Mike and Joe)
It's Goin Down I love everything about this song. It inspired me to have my Xbox Gamertag be 'Hybrid Dialect' for the better part of four years. Mike tears it up on the song. The biggest surprise that I had was that when I finally got the album, I realized there was a radio cut and an 'album version' that's slightly longer. Great track! Pushing Me Away
Pushing Me Away No lie, the main riff really hooked me, plus the catchiness and the lyrics itself made it very unique to me at first. Plus, the piano version. In Between
In Between Well I am very glad to get this song. Most people seem to dislike this song, but it is actually my second favorite from MTM. First off, this is the song (besides maybe the end part of Blackout) where Mike's singing in my opinion is the best singing he has ever done. Next, the lyrics. The lyrics are very deep and very amazing, and speak in a way that not many songs do. And last besides the emotion and the beautiful singing from mike, the song is just composed together in such away that makes me love a lot. I will never get tired of this song and forever think that it is underrated. Numb
My favourite aspects of "Numb" are, 1) the mix of synth pads, electronic samples and piano you can hear during the verses, and, 2) the vocal melodies during the pre-chorus sections :3 -- "Forgotten"
Forgotten I LOVE the way the song starts in the album! It really surprises you(imo LP should make sudden songs like this). Love the speed and energy and the interchange of mike and chester in the pre-chorus. Cure For The Itch
Cure for the Itch Definitely not the best LP instrumental, but I like how it goes from the funny beggining to actually a very solid track. Also they put it just on the right place in Hybrid Theory. New Divide
And One I'm a great guy, I know.. In all seriousness, it's a good mix of everything. You get some of Chester vocals, Joe Hahn scratching, and Mike's rap at the end. This and Reading My Eyes are the only two songs that I don't know the rap to, so that keeps it interesting for me. New Divide
And One: the nostalgic feel I get while listening to it, and the overal undergound vibe of the song Reading My Eyes
Slip Chester gives it a very grungy feel to it that actually sets it apart from the rest of the era. And dem verses by Mike. No More Sorrow
Shadow of the Day Simply the most beautiful Linkin Park song. The beat and Chester's performance are awesome. Also I love how in the live shows Chester yells "yes it will", it's just amazing. I love this song. Dedicated
Dedicated I believe this is one of mike's strongest raps. Again i love how it just suddenly begins and you have mike rapping. Program (LPU11)
Program It definitely shows who Linkin Park is - huge rockers at the same time soft emotional people. We Made It (Busta Rhymes featuring Linkin Park)
