Similar to the buying CDs thread, I assume enough of us play videogames it might be cool to see what people are playing or have bought recently. I'll start us off: -Crash Bandicoot N' Sane Trilogy (Switch) -Jackbox 3 (Switch) -L.A. Noire (Switch) -Starlink: Battle for Atlus (Switch)
Just bought Red Dead Redemption II on Friday. Bought it for my Xbox One. I would have got it for my PS4, but my headphones don’t work with it. Spent like 2 hours yesterday just trying to hunt rabbits #Lit
I'm still in the middle of RDR1 so I decided to hold off. I beat Revolver years ago but hopefully I will beat RDR1 sometime and then get around to RDR2.
Got Black Ops 4 for Xbox One a couple weeks ago (my friend that I game share with paid for most of it). Its alright, definitely wouldn't have bought it for the full $60.
Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch) Dragon Ball FighterZ (Switch) I've bought and played both of these on other platforms, but being able to play them on a portable is worth the double-dip. I've also been playing some of Black Ops 4 and RDR2, though I didn't buy them myself. BO4's Blackout mode is probably the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. With that said, I end up buying games yet spend more time watching others play them on YouTube/Twitch, I make no sense. Anyways, Smash Bros. Ultimate is probably the only other game I'll purchase for this year.
Red Dead Redemption 2. The game's complete lack of any copy and pasted content is blowing my mind. Each random encounter, side mission, etc is completely unique and surprising. Complete opposite of most modern open worlds. I was perfectly content getting a game like RDR 1 but with better graphics but this game is just so much more than I ever expected.
Won a $20 amazon giftcard from winning a blackout bingo game at work. Finally picking up Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (Ps4)
Been playing Star Wars Battlefront 2 because of the General Grievous DLC. Also playing Spider-Man on the PS4.
Just bought Rime for the Nintendo Switch. It is 46% off on Amazon right now. Edit: Just bought Shante: Half-Genie Hero on Switch.
In a shocking move from Xbox and EA, Battlefield 1 was free with Gold so I downloaded that. I am tempted to get 5 tho
Bought all these games during the Black Friday sales: PS4: 1. God of War 2. Nioh 3. The Last of Us: Remastered (Already beat it on Ps3 but will replay it before TLOU2 comes out) Switch: 1. I Am Setsuna (Already beat this game except for the ending, which I am stuck on, highly recommend this game on any Platform!) 2. Rocket League (Already own on PC but to be able to have it easily accessible and on the go was worth purchasing it the 2nd time when it was on sale) 3. Yomawari 1+2 Collection (Wasn't a Black Friday buy but bought it since the last time I posted in this thread) Bought God of War too. I have never actually played a GOW game before but people say this game is accessible for newcomers to the series and that it's not insanely important to play the older games before it. Hoping those people are right.
