This is, like, the new chapter in life.

And this time it has a grammatically correct title [IMG]

Fuck you, Grammar Nazi! It was perfectly fine before! Why do you have to ruin everything? Go to hell.

    Oh man! Airball!

The World's End 6/10: I really wanted to like this movie, but it wasn't really funny. It was kind of weird, which is good and bad. It had an entertaining ending. Didn't really hold my attention.

I watched "Heathers" the other night. Probably one of the darkest comedies I have ever seen, just in that I really noticed how dark it was

It's a pretty clever take on 80s high school comedies, though.

I caught a part of the new Fairly Odd Parents live-action movie for some reason.

Being a Drake and Josh fan, I'm just wondering why Drake Bell is still doing these kind of movies while Josh Peck has been more successful.

That's what Ree thought when she changed the title of this thread.

It is weird, considering Drake is way more attractive and plays guitar. Which is attractive in of it self.

Very weird. I've always been a Josh fan, so seeing Josh in bigger movies and being a success is great (the Red Dawn remake was a bad idea, though), but I expected Drake to be up there with him since he has everything a star would want.

I wish that rumored Drake and Josh film was real.

    Non-Stop (2014) - 3/5

If you are able to side-step logic, this movie is absolute fun. Liam Nesson gives a great performance as always (though seems a bit too easy for him). The movie is absoutely ridiculous, with tons of conviniences, but is a great ride. A definite recommendation for just a silly popcorn flick.

    Red Dragon (2002) - 2.5/5

Having just finished the book, I wasn't expecting much, it being directed by Brett Ratner. Though not a bad film, it would seem that my prediction is correct. The problem with this movie is that it lacks any emotional weight that the book carried. Chapters, upon chapters of backstory for certain characters are cut from the movie to let if fall at just about 2 hours. Characters die, shit happens, but it doesn't really matter, because you don't care about any of these characters, you don't feel for them. On top of this, they change the nature of the ending, bringing it from an emotional, tragic conclusion, to an unfitting "happy" ending. It would seem that this movie was made for the sole purpose of riding on the money train that was The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal, rather than giving a great movie.

I look foward to season 3 of the TV series Hannibal, because they can most certainly do this story justice.

    Trick 'r Treat - 4.5 out of 5

This was actually a review from my second viewing - I thought I posted a review of this before on Flixster, but just watched it again to show the lady and saw that I didn't so...

Trick 'r Treat is how you make a movie. Not just a horror movie, but a movie. Something that keeps you guessing and shocked the entire time, with elements not playing out until just at the right moment. There's very limited predictability in each of the shorts (that are all loosely connected by playing out in the same universe), and it's that kind of thing that keeps the genre fresh. This film is just made even more awesome by a clear timeline distinction that all gets bundled up nicely at the end (or is it beginning?), and it's definitely the kind of movie you can watch again and again, and it will still be loads of fun.

    Hollywood, take note.

    Neighbors (2014) - 2.5/5

Pretty funny but nothing insanely hilarious. But this one scene absolutely slayed me...

    Feast - 2 out of 5

It's still ridiculously gross, but still a good way to kill time.
