Have you ever been somewhere and saw a store, a restaurant or even a social place that you wished was in your city or town? Here's mine: 1.) Hot Topic - There is no Hot Topic store at the mall here. Hot Topic is my favorite store to shop at and it annoys me that there isn't one at my local mall. Instead, I have to travel 45 miles to a mall where there is a Hot Topic. 45 miles isn't that bad but sometimes I am sick and tired of driving such a long way for just one store. I wish the mall here would get a Hot Topic. 2.) Chili's & Bennigans - These are two of my favorite restaurants. They are also 45 miles away from me. Where I live we got the usual Ruby Tuesdays, TGI Fridays, Apple Bees, Olive Garden. I love the food at Chili's and Bennigans but I can never really eat there because of the distance. 3.) Concert Venue - Usually I go to Philly to see concerts. I live in Delaware and there is a venue here, Dover Downs, but it never get's used, atleast not in the best way. Little Richard, Willie Nelson and other old artists get booked to play there. If they really want to make some money, book some of the talent that is out there today. Unfortunately, that has yet to happen and it probably will never will. I would give anything to see artists such as Linkin Park to play there. That would be incredible. There's probably more I'll add. So, is there anything that you've seen somewhere else that you wish you had near you?
Yeah, Hottopic is pretty far from my place too. My mom is too lazy/cheap to keep driving me there. So I just order online. What I do wish were near me is Yesenia's house. Its too far.
Racing Track No racing around here, so no races and no possibility to race . That was really clear . Shows Few bands come in Quebec City (Evanescence comes this month and that's all for the big shows this year).
All good American stores that aren't over here and somewhere for concerts (I hate driving into the city... its only 45 minutes but its so boring).
I live in a small town in Czech Republic and there's absolutely NOTHING!! Only a stupid school, stupid cinema, stupid everything. No shops such as Hot Topic etc. I used to live in Prague, there are many fashion shops, but not good ones with clothes I 'd like (Hot Topic etc...). So everytime I go to USA I do A LOT of shopping!!! OK, I'd like to have these three things near me: 1) Shopping Malls 2) Somewhere to buy Ben & Jerry's ice-cream (I LOVE IT!!) 3) Starbucks None of these above are in my country, and I really miss them!!
I live in a little town called Hartlepool in the UK. Theres absolutly nothing here to do exept go to the cinema but theres hardly anything good on. The streets are too dangerous and it sucks. The closest place around to see concerts that I wanna see are places like Newcastle...But bands like LP dont go there. I dont see why not, LP are an ARENA band and Newcastle has the Telewest ARENA! [/rant]
A concert venue definitely!! There is no concert venue near enough for me to go to. This means i can't see my fave bands perform because the closest to me is London and it is still a very long journey
A good concert venue/club. The closest one to me is an hour away. I know its not that far but I usually travel 2 hours to see shows and I go to them a lot. To not be a historic town. I live in Plymouth and all that is here is tourists and beaches. It is the biggest city in Massachusetts and we don't even have a mall in our town or anything.
Nothing really..... There are 2 malls near my house, 3 if I want to drive a bit. There's a huge ass shopping center 10 minutes from my house (Chesterfield Valley for anyone else from StL). In that shopping center, there are 4 stores that sell all the CDs I could possibly need (Target, Circuit City, Slackers, Best Buy) and tha'ts not including Walmart since they're evil and censor their CDs. The UMB Bank Pavillion, StL's most popular concert venue is about 20 minutes from my house. So, I've got just about everything I guess.
1) Hot Topic. I got spoiled living in MA, because I had one right in the mall...now I live in rural VA where everyone listenes to Dave Matthews or Rap. 2) Best Buy. Cheap CDs, what can I say? 3) Stateline Tack. (or Dover) Anything that goes on a horse or it's rider generally has a lifespan of three months, and our local tack shop is damn expensive. 4) More coffee shops. You can never have too many coffee shops. Especially if they play good music. Chai Latte, yum!
I live in downtown Chicago. Everything here is expensive. I wish we had a mall here so i could be inside when I shop, and a Krispe Kreme would be nice too, i love doughnuts!!
