What do you wanna hear on the new LP album? and some examples

Yeah! i don't wanna hear the typical standard Linkin Park song on this record. i want something they never done before or at least a bit similar to ATS (cliché i know ).

Here some examples of some songs i want to hear LP could make (not to copy them just as great )

Your post is so cool that I imagined myself calling to them saying things like "Would you guys do an album just for me? Master Shinoda, I just wanna say that you are my hero and I want you to do whatever you want man, surprise me just like every time, ok?

(But keep this in secret ok? Give me 4-5 songs really old school vibe but yet, refreshing and new, shit like Lost In The Echo, Until It's Gone or some monstruous rock ballad. I want to feel some nostalgia.)

Something grandiose and cinematic, like Starset's Transmissions/Vessels would be fantastic. Linkin Park went halfway with A Thousand Suns, but diving deep into a concept would be incredible:



On the other spectrum, some purely organic rock inspired by Thrice's To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere or even Beggars would be unreal:





Sadly I feel like LP7 is going to nothing like either of these possibilities.

Fuck i've completely forgot to add the cinematic & orchestral vibe i want to hear on this album.

 

Something really minimal, without any unnecessary tracks and sounds. I don't really have any examples. I'm actually thinking something minimal like Valentine's Day; Wretches and Kings; Skin to Bone

 

GIMME MOAR BASS

 

Layered electronic melodies.

Duet-style vocals from Mike and Chester.

Beautiful vocal harmonies like in COG.

Poetic lyrics like in Iridescent and BITS.

Uplifting and powerful music like that of Powerless and FM.

I gonna shit my pants when we get something like this

 

-Chester and Mike being more poetic with the lyrics
-Dark,eerie, ambient songs
-Trap beats
-Mike Shinoda rapping
-Mike Shinoda rapping with interesting rhyme patterns

and...

YES!!! 100% YES!!!! If I here anything like that on the new record, I'll literally applaud.

The concerts of FM in 2015 were a bestiality. I enjoyed them more than the LP tour.

Really interesting chords, unique sounds, poetic lyrics, nice harmonies...this track is the epitome of what I want to see LP tackle. It's not what I expect though.

Well, I hope for something similar to ATS myself.
I still want some rock vibes to it, though. I really don't want Heavy to be the entire album, but says that's what it's all gonna sound like. I have my doubts. Probably just trolling us.

But yeah, We need a nice mix of rock and electronic. Maybe similar to LIVING THINGS, but I want them to be more experimental than LIVING THINGS.
If there's one thing that I like about Linkin Park, it's their weird songs. Blackout and LIES GREED MISERY are in my Top 5 Linkin Park songs. I crave the weirdness.

 

Is it possible that there will be songs that sound and feel like this on the album considering the direction they seem to be going? I absolutely feel like this is one of their best works.
