Well, Star Trek fans call themselves - Trekies ( or something like that). So what do LP fans called themeselves? Parkers or what?
We've been called soldiers before, referencing the street team and anyone who gets the word out about the band. Also "kids" by the band.
It's also for the kids on tumblr who have to give names to their bandom. I always thought "soldier" was kind of a special name that only people who were around at the beginning and actually did the street team stuff should use. But it's not like it really matters.
Most common is "soldiers". For a while, though, I was on board with "Living Things" due to the LIVING THINGS promotion.
"Soldiers", but I think it's beyond ridiculous and embarassing to follow that "fanbase name" trend. Sometimes I use it to generate empathy to other fans I don't know but with an internal facepalm and "what are you doing?".
