I looooooove Lord of the Flies. To tell the truth, it's not my first time reading it, but the book kills me every time. How do you like Daywatch so far? I finished Oblomov today. I wonder why there are no female characters in Russian literature that I actually like. What I'm reading now: short stories by Updike.
1984 by George Orwell. I'm fucking loving it. Also, Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Definitely not his best, but I'm liking it well enough.
Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates. The film version, directed by Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Road to Perdition) is coming out later this year. It re-teams Leo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet from Titanic fame.
I'm currently reading Public Enemies: America's Greatest Crime Wave and the Birth of the FBI, 1933-34 by Bryan Burrough.
I finally finished The Hobbit and I started on The Fellowship of the Ring. It's sad that I'm 100 pages into the book and I'm just starting chapter four. Holy crap.
I'm almost finished with The Twilight Watch. They're up there with Harry Potter, you roll into it and you just can't stop.
Started and finished "Twilight" today. I found the book to be mediocre as a whole, considering the popularity it has gained ... but the story was pretty good.
I recently finished James Loewen's Lies My Teacher Told Me, which I highly recommend to anyone who hated their high school American History courses. Now I'm starting on Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchon.
