I just wish we'd get previews of the whole album this week. Does anyone remember how many days before the release of Living Things we got previews?

 

Previews? you mean snippets. I don't know but, LT leaked on 15/6.

Yeah. So, I think there's a great possibility of the album leaking this weekend. It would be just a week away from the 13th-releases.

 

While I wish that was true, it only leaked because of iTunes leaking it early.

 

The album leaked before we got snippets of everything so I don't think anybody noticed. We did get clips of I'll Be Gone, Lost in the Echo, and one other song (I think it was In My Remains) a little bit before the leak.

 

I get that, but to me those are not big enough elements to listen to the album in order. I only like Victimized to Roads Untraveled because it transitions from anger towards a person to feeling regret for being angry, ie. it's in emotional order if that makes sense. I'd love for the songs in THP to have some kind of order like that, but from seeing the reviews and interviews it seems more like a collection of similar songs rather than an album experience, but I'm optimistic to see what it turns out like

 

"Wastelands" has been released as a single.

 

A Thousand Suns leaked September 7th (three days before the first non US release date) and Living Things leaked because of iTunes. I'd expect this album to leak June 10th at the earliest. We have just about two weeks left before we all hear the album officially. I'm not even worried about the album "experience" anymore. Last time Mike wanted us all to hear it on the same day June 26th, which was practically a last minute desperate call to help their sales.

 

I know Skin to Bone was another one.

 

Didn't "Tinfoil" open a pre-Living Things show?

 

It did. Almost every show that didn't open with APFMH.

Really liking the individual art "characters" that were made for these singles. The band has great taste when it comes to linking the art with their music.

 

The question is now... When will "Final Masquerade" be unleashed? Will the album leak before then?
