WARNING: Do not download Numb video from KaZaA

I was in the middle of downloading so I thought I'd do a preview. It was downloading..... so I looked at the file name and guess what it was....

numb/video/msblast.exe

Thank god I didn't download it.

 

It worked for me. I had a different filename though, of course. Good thing you looked at that filename though!

 

People, just just learn to look at the file names of the files you are downloading. It's not just the Numb video, it can be ANY file. I have no doubt that there ARE some REAL versions of NUMB on KaZaA. One case doesn't whipe out the entire scenario.

 

it probably still infected you if you downloaded part of it.

 

I checked my files and task manager and so far nothing. I just want to warn people if they download the video from KaZaA. Some may not be infected I just wanted you guys to be careful.

 

I downloaded the video off KaZaA at my friends house. No viruses.

Did you have the "Everything" button clicked or the "Video" button?

 

I clicked the everything button. The thing is sometimes files can act like audio or video. I have 3 audios that are video. One video is software

 

You should try clicking on the "Video" button for video search's.

I know what you mean by audio files as video's. I must have downloaded 30 different anime show episodes and they were mostly audio.

Most of time when I'm looking for LP Video's I get songs like With You and By Myself but they are all DBZ ones.

 

I downloaded the Numb video off Kazaa and I didnt see any of them with that file name msblast on it

 

My participation level is higher than yours.

 

If your participation level is higher than mine that means I download more than you becouse mines 0 and I download all day and night and I dont share my files so I would have more of a chance to see a Numb video file with that virus on it

 

True but mine is 913. I can have over 1,000 search results while you have 50.

 

Good God... now people are arguing about P2P participation levels...?

Okay, okay, let me say this much.

I share absolutely NOTHING on Kazaa Lite, and my participation level is K-Lite Master. I barely use the damn thing and I have a high participation level .

As for downloading a virus... I suggest you understand file names before you go off clicking them little files on the lists .

Don't know if you were being sarcastic or not, but there's an option on K-Lite so that you are ALWAYS on K-Lite Master.

There's also an option where you don't have to share files.

I have both checked.
