War of the Series: 1

Over the next little while Im gonna be making polls where 2 series go head to head. After about a week or so, Ill announce who got the most votes and one! Then, the winner will go on to the next roundand go against some other trilogy!

At the end, Ill count how long different series stayed in the rankings, and which ever did the most wins!

LotR > HP.

The LotR books get boring after a while but the movies are awesome. You're actually glued to an HP book, but when the movie comes out you end up disappointed because they leave out so fucking much.

hah i wouldnt know cause i wasnt interested enough to keep on reading the lotr books. I only read the hobbit and it was pretty good but i like harry potter better

The Lord of the Rings gets my vote.

Ever since I read The Hobbit in, like, fifth grade, I've read it several times since. The same goes for the actual trilogy, which I've read numerous times as well.

I just could never get into a Harry Potter book.

As for the movies, The Lord of the Rings owns Harry Potter. I had to watch TLOTR in Spanish and I was still captivated. When I watched HP in Spanish, I about near committed suicide in class.
