A studio version of "Waiting For Tomorrow", the new song by Martin Garrix featuring Pierce Fulton and Mike Shinoda has leaked. Garrix first premiered the song a few weeks ago during his live set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, but the studio version has a different second verse and is slightly longer. "Waiting For Tomorrow" is set to be released as the next single from Martin Garrix's upcoming debut album, according to a press release posted here. As always, please keep this thread to discussion only and do not ask for links or post links to the song. Any violations of this rule will be handled with warnings and/or infractions. You can find the lyrics I've transcribed from the new version below, and tell me if anything sounds off to you! Source: Elaine / Josep Vinaixa via Broman
"the fear is creeping up behind all this courage I'm projecting" I'll just edit it myself. Also, as far as we know right now, only Shinoda is on the track rather than "Linkin Park" I don't like the second verse, mainly just because I've heard the Ultra edit so many times
This version ends oddly. I was expecting a build-up/drop with a bridge into the final chorus. It's like it was ripped directly from his concert decks.
I enjoy this so much more than the Aoki collabs. It's generic, though. But I do like the vocal melodies.
This definately isn't the final version, it's mixing into another track at the end. This seems to have been ripped from a studio mix (a set).
Waiting For Tomorrow officially set as second single for Garrix's upcoming album. Radio edit of the track can be heard here. Not too different from leak, but confirms that its just Mike and not Chester. http://www.josepvinaixa.com/blog/martin-garrix-waiting-for-tomorrow/
The fact that the second drop is so brief is a strong indication to me that this isn't the full edit.
