I don't know if it's the best, but it's certainly one of my favorites! TLTGYA en WTCFM are really good too.

I think The Catalyst is the best song they've ever made.

I don't like Mike's rap style in this song, especially at the start of the song, the rap verse after the second chorus is better. Also, I find the first verse / first chorus to be too slow and kinda boring. After that it gets a lot better though. It doesn't make my top 25 LP songs, but I do like it.

It's in my top 3 for sure but I still think Burning In The Skies is their best song.

Obviously opinion based, but I am on board this train. WFTE is my absolute favorite Linkin Park song and possibly even my favorite song of all time.
Not just that, but this is also one of my favorite performances by the band. Everyone just nailed the song perfectly and that can't be stressed enough.

Well the original quoted post mentioned specifically perfect lyrics...and Crawling's lyrics are notoriously and simply angst-ridden...which are just put into KRWLNG. :p

I kinda agree. The only thing wrong with the song is the line "dead it, forget it" other than that it remains perfect and one of the best LinkinPark songs to date along with Blackout, and whenthey come for me and Until it Breaks.

Yeah, Waiting For The End is a perfect song. I used to enjoy it a lot and it was my favorite song. Now I consider it in the top 5.

Waiting For The End is amazing, no question, but I wouldn't say it's Linkin Park's best song. Top 10, for sure, though. The Little Things Give You Away still holds that title in my mind, and I'd be surprised if they ever top that.

"Iridescent" is my personal favorite LP song, but oh yeah, "Waiting For The End" is probably the best song Linkin Park has ever made, and I agree with Elaine and Derek on their analysis of it.

I think if "Iridescent" didn't exist, WFTE would've been my absolute favorite.

It's certainly one of the most beautifully crafted songs in their repertoire, though I have to say Blackout, The Catalyst, and When They Come For Me just have these wild "X-factors" that make them more entertaining. I'd also argue Guilty All The Same and A Line In The Sand on the same level of achievement.

Waiting For The End continues to age better than almost all their other stuff imo. It's great in all aspects. Along with Breaking The Habit, I consider it to be one of their most unique and special tracks. I have a lot of friends that say it's the only LP song they care for, besides nostalgic classics and maybe SOTD.

Top 10 for sure. I also think And One is one of their best too. I mean, hell, it's a 4 minute OLD LP song with an interesting song structure and arguably Mike's most abstract and technical rap verse over one of the dopest hip hop beats in their catalogue.....
