So Vista came out today. Right now most stores are getting just the upgrade version of it. Does anyone have it? If so, how many computers can it be used on?

A friend of mine installed it last night...today I see him and here are his first words when I asked him about Vista:

"It blue screened after I installed my second application and it refused to boot after that, and I had to do a system rollback"

I'll stick with OSX thank you very much.

Since you're obviously not using XP, and probably wouldn't dare to touch it, mind if I steal your key? XD

And the programmers for OSX also knew what they were programming for and didn't have to fit (literally) thousands of computer brands.

There's definitely some bugs right now, but runs amazing for me.

I wouldn't recommend upgrading just for Vista. I never recommend upgrading for any OS... if you really want the OS, just buy a new computer entirely.

Installed it last night, legal full version.

Don't see what all the complaints are. This is the most stable Windows platform I've ever used and it runs great. Not to forget that WMP11 runs better than WMP10 ever did on my system.

Something that was brought to my attention. I can't vouch for it personally, but there's been more than a few people saying that the new unzipper in Vista is really, really, really slow. In the picture, both are extracting the same .zip file.

I actually think its a glitch in vista in terms of display. There's been times when things that were 2GB said they'd take hours, only to take less than 2 mins. I believe the counter is wrong.

OSX isn't near completely stable, and it's a total piece of crap for practical applications like connecting to wireless access points and other basic things like that.
