    How so?

ATS is my favorite LP album, but people have the right to like the heavier side of the band, especially if they are fans since HT/Meteora.

The sad thing is, it seemed like this new album was going that direction (with Mike writting stuff that was closer to the folky alternative rock you hear on the radio) and they ditched it. Too bad, cause I liked LP's spin on folk.

exactly what i think. so far wastelands is the one i enjoy the most. but LP is getting lazy or something... all 3 songs are REALLY similar to many others. and what they say about the album in the interviews just makes it worse, the songs are the opposite of what they claim to be doing.

From the things i read so far, THP could be the most disappointing Linkin Park Album ever

So much complaining xD I am happy about the fact, i just listened to GATS and UIG no.

Calling all Electronica "Techno" is like when people call all Metal "Screamo," it fucking pisses me off. And in no way is ATS Techno. That truly was an idiotic post.

And I gotta love the fact that some people completely ignore the fact the guys, and especially Rob, have stepped up big time as instrument players with this record.

No, of course, this isn't "weird/experimental/cuttingedge" enough, so it obviously means that the band is playing it safe with THP. Even when Rob said he blowed his back up while recording the record. And then you have those same people praising damn Iridescent, which is as far from an experimental track as you cant get.

Damn. Musical elitists are fucking annoying at times. Some should just stop listening to LP altogether, as it's clearly not the band they are looking for. Seriously.

Where is the evidence of that though? Other than Rob's solo in Bleed It Out, which was great, so far nothing has made me think that.

That was the first thing I notice at every live show, and defiantly this one. LP has stepped up their ability to play and that's why they make the big bucks!,but I keep seeing so much hate on this thread,I agree with you, some people should just stop listening to LP...or at least if you don't like it,don't be so eager to rip them from limb to limb..we should be fucking grateful that they are still making music at this point

If you don't see a progression in Rob drumming in GATS, then I can't do much...
