This is truly awesome! Edit: But I must admit GATS is also very nice live!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=elnyiZKjqZ4 And Mike did break the MC codex? Though he performed nicely imo.
The live intro abd the preview intro is kind a different. Love the brake before after tge rap on the live intro
I won't listen to this now. we have GATS & UIG, 2/10 REAL songs from THP that is enough now. I want my first listen of the record in the same time, that's make the album very special.
I feel like i've heard all of that before. Guitar sounds similar to that one from Victimized, Mike's verses are like copy of a When They Come For Me. It's like in "Fight Club" ("Everything is just a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy..."). I hope Chester won't sing on the same note through whole THP. I'm starting to be a little bit disappointed :/
Exactly my thoughts. I like the song though, the bridge is also cool, slightly psychedelic xd First thing I thought at the chorus was the chorus of guilty all the same, In the wastelands of today, you're guilty all the same ;D
Wow, can't wait to hear this perfectly routed to my ears in all it's greatness. Nice and simple hook on the guitar that as, as some people find, takes you back to earlier efforts to sound heavy. Personally I still love these simple yet effective chords for getting me pumped. It's a simple song (to get as a listener) but at no moment dull. I really felt that softer part just as Emiltayeb mentioned above me, that hit me hard on an emotional level for some reason. I guess partially because I was not expecting it in a song like this. Other than the drumpattern I'm not getting the WTCFM2-vibe by the way, this is something different! Peformance seems very tight for a first time live. The guys really did very very well imo on that front. There's so many more left to hear in an albumversion so I expect for the song to get even better for me but it's safe for me to say that I would be going out of my mind if I was there.
