darker than the dark higher than the sun this is not the end you are not the end Wow. The lyrics. So deep.
Except for the vocals, hate it. Purely hate it. This makes Recharged look like A Thousand Suns. This is what I feared A Light That Never Comes would be, but I like that song and has since we first got the live audience recording... not the case with this piece of shit.
BTW, this track is Steve Aoki featuring Linkin Park. So it's Aoki. So it's EDM. ...before the inevitable happens I think I'd just put this out there.
Honestly, we're not even sure if this is exactly how the studio version is going to sound. A lot of DJs and EDM artists make extended instrumental cuts etc for live performances. I'd wait till the album comes out to say if those are going to be the only vocals in the entire track.
Chester and possible Mike (I think I hear him singing) absolutely kill it on this song, but Steve does such a shot job with this track. Really disappointed on his part.
The vocal performance is what I'd expect from Chester/Mike, so that part is not surprising. The track overall is kind of meh though, it just lacks energy or a general purpose. I'm not a big fan of EDM though, so that's also something to factor in.
From a LPLive post: "This is not original song. First drop is R3hab - Samurai and 2nd drop is DVBBS & MOTi - This Is Dirty. So this is mash-up." I checked both songs and they were used in this "mash-up". So, the studio version could be less worse than this
