I thought I was the only one who didn't like the video much either Does it bother anyone else in the part where it says "for you to see" before the whole band comes in, Chester is just mouthing the words when Mike is actually singing it? I feel like they should've panned the camera to Mike..
Am I the only one who thinks that their music videos off A Thousand Suns are the best, cohesive sets (besides Burning In The Skies)? Waiting For The End still amazes me. edit: with that said, I loved the use of shattered glass in the video. Don't care too much about the cliche military storyline or the Medal Of Honor footage. edit: Post 100 dedicated to my response to this video. yay!
Be careful with the use of the word "cliché". That "military storyline" is a sensitive matter for a lot of people, especially those who LIVED through it. And it's not just about throwing soldiers into the video for the sake of it, it's a little bit of a tribute.
Waiting for the End is definitely my favourite video in a purely artistic sense, I'm just in awe at the visual work there. I feel like Castle of Glass is definitely the best band video they've done at least since The Catalyst, but a few things bugged me. Why is Chester's only move to lift and extend his hand out towards the screen? It just comes off as extremely forced and awkward. However I will say I found myself smiling with joy during the final chorus when the entire scene brightens up. It's a nice change of pace to the band's usual dark and dreary atmospheres.
I'm not talking about the game itself. I'm talking about the story. The gameplay scenes didn't take the driving seat here. And I'm sorry, I'm not quite understanding where the "comparison" actually is, you're kinda taking it into the wrong direction.
New LPTV! making of the castle of glass
I liked it a whole lot better than any of the other videos for Living Things. That's not saying much though....the effects were nice and I think Chester did a good job emoting. Other than that, it's a music video promoting a video game to make money.
1) Maybe it's karma for the One Step Closer, Papercut, etc videos. 2) Chester is singing those vocals too lol. 3) More for Chester to do? Lets start with Joe Hahn before we get to Chester lol
I had to listen to it a few times to actually realize it was the same sample used in the original song, haha. I guess it being so far in the background of the original song made me not even realize it was there until listening to the music video, let alone know it was the same sample. Thanks, though!
I never said that, and I don't mean that at all. You can listen to any kind of music no matter what race you are. Your name just seems like you prefer the ''old'' LP.
This video got 1.5 million views in 2 days and LITE got 2.5 million or something in over a month !!! Are you kidding me? I ain't saying this video is bad or anything. Just pissed about how they totally messed up the promotion for LITE. About Castle of Glass video. I loved it. Only thing i found a bit odd was Chester mouthing Mike's portions. It's like they think Mike ain't as popular as Chester from the band. But overall, the video was nice. Loved the ending chorus when everything just brightens up. Kinda tired of the dark themed video's from Joe although, Waiting for the end's video is my favorite. It gets too repetitive with the dark toned theme. LITE should be promoted so much more. What are these guys doing !!
Well COG deserves the views but LITE is just overrated, so I just don't care about the song, or the video, but I agree, they really messed up the promotion to the song.
