Does someone know how I could burn some music videos in order to be able to play them on my Playstation 2? I'd be really happy to have some help .
From what I've read at an SVCD forum, it's possible with a certain media player. It consists of a whole bunch of files, programs and such or something. I did some research, and I found it here. The final post on that page explains a lot that seems to be your answer. I am not computer-knowledged in that field, so good luck.
I backed up all my LP live videos to a SVCD (good thing because a week later the CD got smashed) but all you need is Nero, and it has a nice walkthrough VCD and SVCD wizard. Don't use those crappy SVCD makers as they are all homemade crap. Nero works good. Try that.
ask any expert and they'll say the Nero sucks at encoding. i prefer the homemade crap programs because they were specifically made for the purpose of creating MEPG-2 ISO compliant video, and not just added in at a later time like nero .
These crap programs mostly will mess up your computer. I used to think that Nero was crap, but realized that with my system configuration, it was my fault. That's not what I was trying to say. Don't switch to Nero, just use a good burning program like Easy CD Creator or something like that. Don't use the crappy little programs, especially freeware. Let me tell you, theyre the bad ones. I know from experience
Dude, you need a modded PS2 to play SVCDs. Unmodded PS2s can play XVCDs which are better. I just dont know how to burn one....
Maybe you got lucky and found some good programs, thats all. Point being, it's not good to recommend these crap programs as a good majority of them will mess up your computer. You don't know how many HD's I have had to reformat and 'de-spy/adware' in the last little while from using crappy homemade programs. It's a risk that sometimes isn't worth it
Theyre not all crap programs......I have Nero and its a hell of a lot better for me than that stupid Easy CD Creator program.
I'm not calling them crap, i'm saying that they're unreliable sometimes and potentially dangerous. Nero is good. What I was saying is people should try software like Nero or whatever they have before they ditch it and go download a freeware VCD burning utility. Now...could we get back on topic
