I mean you have to admit those songs are pretty extreme for LP standards. As a fan I don't think I'd ever listen to them

Except that no one (my age) listens to rock anymore. Just dubstep and rap. They'll skip over the album, surely. They won't even give one song a listen.

I listen to Linkin Park and a couple of other bands that make guitar-heavy music but exactly for the "rock". I don't really listen to rock anymore.

I listen to mostly Alternative (Alt. Pop and Alt. Rock) and Rock. Don't really listen to much mainstream rock, though. The rock bands I like are Fight The Fade, Finding Iris, Trust Company, Our Last Night, Beta State, bands that you guys have probably never heard of.

It bugs me how everyone considers Meteora "amazing" and how the band became crap after that. They don't realize what they are implying is that the band went from mainstream to kinda non-mainstream with their experiments and change in sound. People are just so nostalgic because they heard Meteora when they were in their teens. So they all consider "Meteora" as the best album LP made. It's like how most of us cling onto the childhood adaptations of our cartoons and series and possibly scrutinize any new adaptation that pops up.

    So fucking true!
So what did I do? On a road trip, I simply played Wretches and Kings in the middle of the electronic stuff they were playing. I played it without them knowing since they didn't let me play LP songs. They went WILD. They loved the beats. They basically repeated that song for like 30-40 minutes. They couldn't believe it was LP. And that's when I said "You guys really have no idea what you're missing!". I gotta admit, it felt so satisfying :p

And then I got one of those friends to listen to "Waiting For the end" and "When They Come For me" after that cause I got him way too interested :p

Well, back in Dubai, people listen to only mainstream EDM stuff. But Waiting For The End was a big hit. I was pleasantly surprised. It was constantly played on the radio and it topped Virgin radio dubai's top 10 countdown for days, which not a lot of songs are able to do. Burn It Down did decent but not as good as WFTE. Iridescent also was a decent success. Apart from those, I haven't heard any LP songs on radio.

Someone needs to make a countdown for UIG so those from separate timezones can anticipate.

I just think that the band loves to diversify themselves, which is great, and honestly that's one of my favorite qualities about the band too. But you have to admit some of the styles they attempt fall pretty flat. Songs like In Between or The Messenger, idk. For me I heard those once and never went back. They excel overall better I would say writing heavier songs, so I'm thankful it seems this new record will fulfill that. IMO

Looks like They need some beers
    To sign that song correctly

    El rey
Yo se bien que estoy afuera
Pero el día que yo me muera
    Se que tendrás que llorar

    Llorar y llorar

    Its some kind of anthem
An i dont give a shit about life one

    It actually says

    "The King

I know well that I'm outside
    But the day I die
    I know you'll cry"

    This song http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=sytnvyJysKw
