    Great news, although I knew of them recording new material and that John Frusciante was in the band now full-time, this whole collaboration idea sounds really cool, it will most likely be done in really good taste!

    Can't wait til 2006! :D

    The remix album was rumoured since a little after the release of Frances The Mute, and the new album will probably be released in early 2006.

    This was orginally posted at The Comatorium forum, which members' generally don't lie. And I'm sure Theory (TMV's webmaster) will comment on this soon, if he already hasn't.

    EDIT: And the person who originally made this post at The Comatorium is a moderator, too.
