there are some obvious references to christianity as well (hell, crucifix). i doubt it's a case of them confusing different cultures. i mean, track 8's title refers to prometheus and jesus (with 'crucifix' usually meaning jesus being crucified, as opposed to a cross on its own), and both had similar stories, being sent to enlighten humanity only to be punished in some form or another. it definitely seems like the kind of lyrical theme they'd use. maybe they just immersed themselves in different cultures for inspiration. matt does seem intelligent to me, even if he can be a dickweed.
yeah im about 99.5% sure, i used to run a trivium fansite but know i work for the guys. Into The Mouth Of Hell We March was just added to the Madden 09 videogame
Likelighttoflies was right. (HEY CHRIS this is Sean) Him and I are both moderators at Triviumworld.com and friends with the band. His info is all correct! New album will make you forget Crusade existed.
o it is, we should hear a song in about a week. as soon as i get a hold of something ill post it here.
If the Iron Maiden cover is any indication, the vocals on this album will be a little bit of an improvement.
F#$#, they just announced a North American tour that makes every damn state around here but not MN. an All That Remains and Trivium co-headliner would be killer.
