Vid for their first single off of Shogun can be found here: http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=42051655 Reeaaalllly good stuff.
Better than any of their videos so far, for sure. Shit I'm looking forward to this album. One thing I noticed is that both Matt and Corey are playing their (six string) signature guitars in the video, yet as far as I'm aware, the whole album was played with seven string Dean Custom Shops.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but it'd be kind of weird for them to write an entire album using their seven strings, especially considering only two or three songs from their entire previous discography used seven string guitars.
It was either that, or they planned to record the whole of the next album with seven strings. I read it somewhere, so I'll see if I can find the link.
Ohhh. Well, you've probably kept up on them better than I have. Unless I get to hear a new song, I really don't care about what they have to say.
Hmm, I can't seem to find where I might have read it. Maybe I'm just hallucinating? I could've sworn I did read something along those lines somewhere. In any case, I don't like Matt any more than you do. ------------------------------ Okay, looking at live videos, I know for a fact that Kirsute Gomen and this were played with seven stringers in standard (B) tuning. I'm not too sure about Into the Mouth of Hell We March though.
