Downloaded that hoe earlier! Like the first half, second half kinda g**. The dude really does a good job of mixing rock with like real, like idk how to say this without bein racist, but ghetto (Waka Flaka) music. He really understands implementing the guitar and drums into music that people who only listen to say Gucci, or them other wack rappers can respect. Just an opinion from someone who listens to too much rap. Like the Lupe, Xzibit, and piss can't think of the name of the dude from the Clipse songs.
how is no one feelin the Lupe track?i dont think the tape is the best that ones my favorite. And the guy from the Clipse is Pusha T,my bad,his track is nice too. What I was getting at, is that dude can flawlessly integrate rock sounds into credible street music, not some Pop 'Party Like a Rockstar' stuff, the guy can see things that other people can't, and connect with different people, its a real talent.
he just adds live instruments to hip-hop songs, it's nothing revolutionary. it's called a reworking. i'm laughing, you think Gucci Mane is "wack"? then you can't even remember who Pusha T is, and you love the Lupe track? jesus christ. i bet you like that gun guitar on the cover, don't ya?
Funny? Attacking music taste while bringing up a new thread. It's not revolutionary, but It's different, as a producer myself maybe I see it more than you do, It's just truly difficult this day in age, trying to appeal to the different tastes of different people. And the dude does it well. After 'reworking' though your post doesn't make much sense.
