Track-By-Track Analysis in Kerrang!

I don't think it's so much the fact that they're swearing that bothers people, it's the fact that they'd never sworn on their records before. Therefore, their reasoning for not wanting Linkin Park to swear comes down to the fact that they think it makes music less meaningful, rather than actually citing that they don't like it because Linkin Park never swore before. That's how I see it, anyway.

 

With the possible absence of a Mr.Hahn Instrumental has nobody considered that there could be a Hahn Solo(Geddit? ) on a song?

I do remember Brad saying on the day the name and date of the album came out that there was a very electric driven song on there.

This album... (In a lot of senses) isnt what I was expecting, or how I would of had it...

But... I cant wait for it, waited a very long time for it, lets hope its worth the wait.

All tracks they said from the beginning to end is just like a movie plot,their description is so attractive!I think I've listened all of them for this reason!
Their talking as if there will be a lot of SOLO in the whole album,of course there has Chester,then Mike,Brad,Rob,....
I think 5/15 will be a big moment for me!
Now I hope I can accelerate up the clock!

I swear i will throw the cd out the window if they dont change the acutal song structre around in regards to lyrics. It gets annoying hearing the songs chrous every 5 seconds

 

Yeah, their song structure is really overdone now.

 

I agree to some degree, but I think it's also just the context in which it's being used. I don't have a problem with swearing at all, but it seems like, from the two lines we have with the fucking's, they just randomly threw them in there. I'm wondering if these parts were written by Mike, because Chester has said that he doesn't write cussing in his music I recall.

I was actually expecting swearing on the album, but I wasn't expecting it in such a ridiculous way. I was looking forward to some maturity on this album, and, while swearing doesn't make someone immature in my eyes, the way they're using it is immature, in my opinion.

It seems almost like they added the words in there just to be the second track on the album just to show to everyone that this isn't the same Linkin Park. They specifically mentioned those lines in the analysis for that reason, I'm betting.

I'm kind of rambling off my thoughts on the matter, but I would like to add that it doesn't make me look forward to this album any less, it is just kind of disappointing that their use of swearing on this album looks, so far, to be randomly thrown in front of more hopeless/angry/life sucks lyrics.

Dude, that sounded SO COOL!! Some parts it almost had the sound of a flute, but it was too low of a pitch. But that sounded SO COOOOOOL! I think that will have a really awesome effect on the song.. rock onnnn
