I had this strange feeling that Mike would be singing on at least one song. Now that it's confirmed, I think it's the track I'm most hyped up about.

I'm kinda disappointed that 'Wake' is an intro, and from the description it doesn't sound like much.

But I guess that's what those iTunes exclusive tracks are for, extra content.

When I saw the lyrics at the top of the page I was like: People are going to say they sound emo and havn't grown up at all. I think it's awesome, makes me think of KoRn. I'm just so fucking happy the fact that Chester IS actually screaming something. Looking forward to it and No More Sorrow.

11 tracks? Hope they're all good ones. I must admit I hate intros but if it's a Joe Hahn intro it might be good. But yeah, I'm looking forward to Given Up like hell.

edit: And Mike singing? Truely awesome!

I know what you mean, but I really don't mind it. I believe it will be a nice change for once.

I really believe Wake is the instrumental. But it will be more close to a 'Announcement Service Pubic' than a 'Session' or 'Cure For The Itch'. Just my feeling and hope [for an instrumental]. And personally, I was hoping Mike wouldn't sing but I knew it was going to happen. I just pray it sounds nice.

    I second that.

Valentines Day leaves me with mixed feelings. Poppy? I hope it will be a good kind of poppy. Like Maneater, or Dance Dance or something. (not BSB LOL)

Guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I still really can't decide on this album. Only if 5 tracks are good, I'll probably by the album anyway, and force myself to like it. I'm probably most excited about the track mike sings, shadow of the day, and no more sorrow.

Haha I guess the rule that the second song (read: non-instrumental track) will always the a single holds true.

Put me out of my fucking misery? Wow Chester. And here we all thought that the lyrics were steering away from the emo label.

I don't know why but I seem to be the opposite of everyone else: The more I hear about the album the more nervous I am about whether it'll have the same ''holy shit that's good'' vibe that songs from Hybrid Theory and Meteora had. I mean Rapping when there should be no rapping? I dunno, it sounds intresting but there's a boundary between what makes a good song and what elements of it are just inappropriate. Also I hope to god that there is a good amount of rapping on the album; Hip-Hop is a strong element of what makes Linkin Park unique in that they can take parts of not only Rap and Rock but other elements of music and throw it in to a blender and produce something so fucking good that it never comes off a persons' list of favourite songs.

Maybe I'm just over analysing here, I mean after all I consider LP to be a huge influence in the musical aspects of my life and there isn't a song they've produced that I can say I don't like. I just hope that this isn't a St. Anger album.

I am very curious to hear Mike sing though, that should be quite interesting.

I'm not surprised they did a poppy song, but I'm definately glad it's only one.
And they say they've got some harder stuff on this CD... :D

It sounds like they've grown as a band musically & I'm glad they're lyrics haven't changed directions. The lyrics are a part of what makes Linkin Park who they are. If they turned around & started writing sappy love songs...well, that wouldn't be too fantastic if you ask me.

Everytime I hear something new about this CD, I get more & more excited.
Time is so unfair. I want the CD now!! XD
