This list was created by SFX Magazine and the issue this list is in will be out in February.

Do you agree/disagree? What should be here if its not?

I agree on most of the list...The Matrix should be either 2 or 3 because bullet-time was big shit! Plus Spider-Man 2's train fight shouldn't be on the list...it's great, but it's not listworthy yet! Replace that with Independence Day with the big ass ship blowing up the White House

I think Gollum should be up there... same with Bullet Time... both deserve a lot higher. Spider-Man 2 shouldn't be on the list, Independence Day should be on the list, The T-1000 should be higher as well...

And on a side note, every Star Wars effect that uses a CG creature (Jar Jar, Jabba in Ep. IV) should be the WORST special effects ever.

They were actually pretty good, and concidering how long ago they were made for their time they would have been phenominal.

Consider that the Special Edition DVD Jabba sucks even more than the original Special Edition Jabba.

I don't know, to me, the new Jabba looks too... flat?

i think the matrix bullet time should be a lot higher.. and the t-1000 should also be up a spot or two.. spiderman 2 definitely shouldnt be on the list.. i havent seen 3 of the 10 movies so i have nothing to say about them.. but overall the list is ok i guess.. oh and about the jabba cg character in the ep 4 special edition, its disgusting and it blows my mind why they put the special editions on dvd verses the actual original theatrical releases for that trilogy.. but ill stop cuz that story belongs in a whole 'nother forum..

If I were to making the list, The Matrix's bullet-time would've been first, followed by Gollum, and then the explosions of the nuclear warheads at the end of Terminator 3.

What about the 2 movies that Peter Jackson made in the 80s called Dead-Alive and Bad Taste. Those gore movies looked so real.

What about the Faces of Death movies?

I remember hearing those weren't real.

Yeah, most of it was fake. The stuff that wasn't fake was home video and whatnot that they bought.

jason and the argonauts? are you kidding me? i mean, i know its pretty good considering it was made a long time ago, but if theyre going to judge on that, they might as well put clash of the titans in there or something. i believe it actually won an award for best CGI at the time.

Bullet-Time should be number one for sure. Nothing like that was done before and it made so many movies either spoof on it or horribly jock it.

Definately. Bullet time is everywhere now. Games, tv, movies. Whoever thought it up was a genius.
