To write a song/lyric

When are you able to write a really good song/lyric? Sometimes i write 2 songs in a month, sometimes 1 song in 3 month. A long time ago i wrote nothing...i just don´t feel like to write anything now. Because i don´t love nobody at the moment, i hate noone...everythings just numb. music from Evanescence doesn´t help...and the past won´t work too.

Anybody got any tips?

 

That's called 'Writers Block' and the best thing to do is just get on with life for a while and to not even try and write anything until you've had a relax...

I've just got over a 'case' of writer's block. I didn't write a lyric for about 2 months :whistle:

 

i dont have any timetable for lyrics writing... sometimes i can write 3 songs a day, sometime none for 2 months... but yes i do get writers's block sometimes and its really annoying because i love writing lyrics. what i do is just listen to music i guess. and wait for good ideas.

 

Its a total pain in the butt.. just chill out..do some other things which may lead to an expirience for you to write about..ya never know

 

I can write whenever I want to.

It's just whether or not I actually have the drive to write that's my problem.

 

I usually write when I am angry at something. I have writer's block a lot. I haven't written anything in a while. Maybe I should try to start writing again. :wth:

 

I write when I feel angry or have a good lyric I made up stuck in my head

 

this was on there a few times already, but, if i get writers block, it helps (t least for me ), to get really mad. sometimes (after while of not writing anything) i will be somewhere strange and lyrics just start pouring into my head, so i learned the hard way to keep a pen and paper with me at all times-if you dont aleady
