To the staff

    Hey LPA:

    I want to start by thanking you guys for the great site you have here. You were the first to have these newest tour dates, and what an exciting moment for so many fans.

    On a second note, I would like to say something about a staff member I spoke with. I work for Riftrock (a rock music news and views website), and I wanted to see if I could find a contact for P.O.D., for a concert I will be attending in January. Not only did I not get any help from this staff member, I had the feeling he was angry when talking to me on AIM.

    Now, I understand if he did not have any help whatsoever, but the way in which it was approached was mind-boggling. I felt I was getting yelled at. Sorry, I feel this has to be posted... I am in no way bashing the staff. I am only helping you guys improve.

    There could be a number of reasons.

    Now I don't know what happened, but listen out.

    1) Maybe the person is having a bad day.
    2) If in a bad mood, then maybe they didn't want to talk.

    Maybe it was the way things were worded in your conversations.

    Also, just mentioning that one of the staff members seemed annoyed doesn't help much. It's human to be annoyed once and awhile and you didn't really suggest anything :wth:.

    Yes, I understand what you mean. I would have been much more understanding if they told me that though. Then, I could have left them alone. But, I know what you mean.

    I'm trying to suggest better communication. That's all.

    He told you twice that he had absolutely no contacts in getting this news, yet you chose to ignore that fact and kept asking the same question over and over again. Are you aware of how frustrating that is when someone TELLS you that they had no contacts in getting this news yet you keep asking them again like they are purposely lying to you?

    I told you that the staff member who posted this news did not contact anyone and found it on another site (the SOURCE is right in the news!) Yet you rudely persisted in asking me for his screename until I coughed it up, despite telling you before that he did not talk to anyone in getting this news post.

    You clearly have trouble reading simple english because if you actually would have read our instant messages, you would have seen us telling you right to your face that we had absolutely no contacts in getting that news, thus meaning we could not help you in the way you desired.

    I don't even know anything about P.O.D yet you continously harassed me for information. You honestly, need to learn better listening and communication skills if you are going to run a huge rock website that plans to interview the stars of the music world.

    Till then, I advise you to stop trying to make our staff look like rude and uncaring people when it was your fault for being unable to read a simple instant message.

    This thread is closed, I thank you for the compliments, but this thread could have been avoided if you would've actually listened to us when we said we didn't contact anyone.
