Hello nice people. I come here to ask your help. As you most likely have seen the post on the LinkinPark.com boards or the LPU boards, I am heading up a Projekt to showcase LP's fan's art. So what I am asking for, is this: A banner on your site, or even a news article about the projekt. Or whatever you prefer, even a mention on the email newsletter. Here's The Bare Details: 1. It's happening next summer, '04, during the June-August monthes. 2. Danielmarko and Angela, are taking a U-haul across America to stop in heavily populated LP areas for 1-2 days at a time giving them a chance to leave their Messages/Poems/And drawings on the Meteora like board. 3. Donations are NOT required. They will be needed though to fund the trip, however I do understand that not everyone is able to donate, and so if your able, any amount will be gladly accepted. 4. Overseas fans are NOT excluded. Just because we won't be traveling overseas to allow you to draw on the board, you will be able to mail in your art and it will be put on the board. I will have the adress for overseas art/donations up soon. However the exact stops and dates are not known yet. 5. The total cost of the whole projekt is estimated at $6,000 US Dollars. Which includes: U-Haul for 3 Weeks, The Art board itself, Paints, markers, ect, and Gas. 7. We will be presenting this board to LP at the end of the projekt. Remember if your not the greatest artist, you can still leave LP a message, and come out to one of the stops and meet fellow LP fans and so on. Pictures and video will be taken for those who are not able to come. That's good and all... But those little signatures of yours are stretching the forums, please fix it . edit: Well, since you didn't remove it, I did. Don't post images over 525 pixels on these forums, it stretches them.
Well its not exactly my sig, but I was posting them incase you all would like to use them on your site and help me promote this projekt.
I'm an Admin so I'll field this, if Alex or anyone feels different, then please intervene: How about this: You can make a big thread telling everyone about the project and I'll pin it atop one of the forums. The news page is for LP news and I don't think a banner would work or look good on the website. That's the best I can offer you when I think about it. Good luck!
Suggestion: Get some catchier banners. If you're expecting people to take this serious, the first thing you should do is get some banners that have more then just text on them.
