So there will be a new Three Days Grace album called "Human" soon. It will be released on March 31st. After "I am Machine" and "Painkiller" now the third single from the outcoming album. To be honest, i was a bit shocked after Adam left the band and a bit disappointed. But with this "new" TDG sound, i think i could like them like i did 5 years ago. I really dig the new songs.
I just really don't like Matt Walst's voice. He sounds like Chad Kroeger-lite and the lyrics from Human Race are terrible. I do somewhat enjoy "I Am Machine" since I've heard it all the time on the radio around here.
This song's lyrics make no sense and seem kind of thoughtless... Also, I could do without the "Yeah's."
I wish they'd have either broken up or changed their name after Adam Gontier left the band. He was Three Days Grace. This new shit is just that – shit. Ugh. This song also makes absolutely no sense.
I liked the intro, and then it turned to absolute crap. I used to like Three Days Grace, then I guess I grew out of them and now I find them to be pretty generic.
I'd be excited for their new album if Adam was still with TDG. I can be picky when it comes to past members getting replaced with new ones. I'm just not too big on their new member, Matt Walst.
So now i listened to "Human" full on Spotify. ANd i have to say that i really like it. Ok, there are also some forgettable songs on it, but also some nice surprises. As non singles (Human Race, Painkiller, I am Machine) i really like Fallen Angle, Landmine, Car Crash and Nothings Fair in Love And War. The other songs are ok, but a bit too forgettable. Need to listen to these songs more often , but its a nice album in my opinion. (Sadly there isnt an option to listen to Transist Of Venus hee in Germany) I would give the album a good 6.5/10 E: So What is pretty cool , too --> 7/10 for the whole album.
I would give Human a solid 4 or 5 out of 10. The entire album is forgettable and more repetitive than it should be. All the songs sound extremely similar too. Then there's that one track I don't even care to remember the name of that felt like an attempt at Never Too Late Part 2. It feels like they wrote half the lyrics then decided not to write anymore and just repeat certain lines over and over. The only songs I liked were Painkiller and Human Race.
I'm pretty sure we can all agree that the other band members + Matt "Ride-A-Long" Waist is just using the band name for $$$ after this album.
The band sounds like a parody of themselves(when they aren't sounding completely bland and soulless). That's why the album is on my Complete and Indescribable Anguish list. I honestly can't imagine ever enjoying anything new from the band.
That album was terrible. The lyrics were poor and sounded uninspired. The guitars and instrumental overall was so boring and generic. The vocals were okay, but again pretty boring. There weren't many interesting parts on this album. I'd say the only noteworthy songs on the entire album were Human Race (because of its catchy chorus), Car Crash, and The Real You, and even those songs weren't all that great. 3/10
Well I don't hate the album but I can agree about the fact that it is pretty generic. I would gave it a 5. And The Real You is a great song.
Gross. The new stuff is terrible. The new vocalist is terrible. The writing is terrible. It's all terrible. The band has always been kind of cringe worthy, but at least it had soul. This is just radio bullshit.
Well, after listening to it again i have to correct it to a 6/10, but the songs that i mentioned stand how i ranked them. Still excited to see them live in two months
