Having watched the Brazil stream earlier today, I want to say again that shortening songs for the set (except for UIG) is a great idea.
I'm generally OK with the shortened songs, but I'm bringing eggs to the Paris show just in case they shorten Papercut
I'm okay with the shortened songs except for Robot Boy and UIG. I don't believe songs should be shortened until they're played in full at least once.
I don't like it when other bands have done medleys, at shows I've been to. And I don't prefer it with LP either. There were just too many medleys. It would have been better if it was confined to 2 stretches. Just when I'm getting into a song, it's onto something else.
I don't like them. They have six albums at this point, they should play two hour shows if they wanna mix it up.
Yeah, but i think that would mean less concerts... I dont think that Chester could Do it every night 30 min longer.
I was against the shortened setlists at first, but its a much different experience when seen live in person. It felt like they played a shit ton of songs and the concert was a bit more lengthy like. Totally wouldn't mind more of it.
I like it. Especially the Leave Out All the Rest/Shadow of the Day/Iridescent mix-up. It allows for more variety, they've done some really awesome mash-ups live. It keeps things fresh. More songs > Less songs
I think that the shortened songs are epic (especially Blackout and Robot Boy, although that could be because I'm into ATS ), but suortened Papercut is a big no-no.
But, they've been playing papercut for years now...Because of shortened papercut, they're able to play more things and keep it fresh. Isn't that better?
I totally disagree. It brings a high energy level to the show and let it on a high level. The only song i didnt liked short was UIG (it was mee). The rest was surprisly cool. Much energy , much wow
I'm mixed when is about the idea of shortened live songs. It's an awesome when we get more songs live. But when we have songs of The Hunting Party (mainly 'Until It's Gone), which is a pretty bad idea since they have to promote the album. I'm not really a fan of this idea.
