This Place Is So Corrupted

After recent events, I have to say that LPA has to be one of the worst ran websites in the history of the internet. I couldn't tell you how many times an admin has asked me for the LPUnderground tracks, or how many times an admin has told a teenie to go to hell. It really bothers the crap out of me that people get banned for that kind of stuff but the admins get away with it. Now, I'm not going to mention any names, but I do think some of the admins of this site are running it right. I have been visiting LPA for over a year, so I know what goes on in these forums. As for the banishing of Casey, I'm on the latter. Sure, Casey should of never said that he wanted to kill Branden, but when Branden himself says that he didn't take it seriously and that he and Casey talk a lot on MSN, then Casey should of never been banned. Perhaps, Casey should have been put on probation or a temporary ban. All in all, I respect all of the hard work the admins put into this site, but some things have got to change.

That is basically the end of my rant. I would of post this in the Random Thoughts but obviously I can't.

If I get banned for this, it will just show you exactly how this place is ran.

 

Well, you haven't broken anything, so I think you're safe, but don't quote me on this. Secondly, did they ask you on the forums through PM or was it on AIM, MSN, etc.?

 

Most of them were PMs. One admin even asked me in a topic. I almost crapped my pants that one of noticed it besides me.

I disagree with Casey's ban, I'd agree for 1 month temp suspension, but not a permanent ban.

I find the site gets run really well, it's one of the best ran sites i've ever seen [other than Neowin.net and the IPS forums I go to.]. There's no teenies here [unlike the other countless LP forums] and everyone actually knows how write properly [insted o lik dis].

If anyone warns or bans Paul, that would be very wrongfully done, he was just giving feedback [btw, this need to be moved to the Feedback forum].

On a side note. These forums are run perfectly. Comparing it to other forums, this is by far the best. Sure, I think Casey should have been warned instead of banned though. Branden wasn't offended so you shouldn't ban him. There's my two cents. Don't like it, THAN TO FUCKING BAD!

Corrupt or not, I (and many others like me) don't seem to have a problem following the rules. As far as I can tell, they go a little something like this:

Don't be an asshole
Don't be a teenie
Respect proper forum etiquette (i.e. no double posting)
Type legibly

And if you do that, you'll be fine.

Oh, and regarding the 'I'm Hardcore" in the topic description, shove it. Anyone who actively claims to be hardcore, punk, etc, is just trying too hard. It's like being funny, you know? You try too hard, you're bound to fail.

Look, I love the LPA. I've been coming here for ages, and it's probably the forum I visit the most.

But I agree with a lot of what Paul said. I do think the warnings go overboard. Kate said that she never had a problem following the rules either, and I guess I haven't as well--no warnings here, last time I checked. But this the the only forum I visit where I really feel like I need to watch my step.

Answer this Derek : What is your view on admins asking for LPUnderground MP3s? Considering that is probably LPA's most strick rules.

I really don't want to expose the admin who asked me, because it is still in my PM Inbox.

Also, you completly avoided everything that was said in my rant minus the Casey thing. I never mentioned anything about this forum being infested with teenies.
