Today Linkin Park live streamed their rehearsal to YouTube and it was amazing. The band are having fun with their new single Heavy and play it in a few different styles including Island Vibes, Nu-Metal and some kind of Swing version. Kiiara can also be seen hanging out but doesn't get involved. Check out the clips below. Heavy (Swing Version) Heavy (Island Vibes) Heavy (Nu-Metal Version) Highlights include Chester saying "everybody on the dancefloor!" before the Island Vibes version. Mike repeating "EVERYTHING'S ABOUT ME" in traditional LP fashion and Chester saying "There's your fucking Hybrid Theory now shut the fu-" before the video abruptly ends.
Hahaha, these videos are amazing. Nice to see the band messing around and not giving a fuck. "EVERYTHING'S ABOUT ME!"
"Hoooldiiing oooooon - yah" I'm fucking dying hahaha pls make an entire reggae-inspired album pls k thx
Mike yelling "CRAZY" and "EVERYTHING'S ABOUT ME!" fucking killed me. Also Chester saying "everybody get on the dance floor... I don't like my mind right now".
The sad thing about this: Now I kinda want a full reggae and nu-metal version of this. The lyrics seem to fit all styles, lol.
"Let's do the Nu Metal version" [chester, laughing] "It's gonna fuckin' suck." Dying. That is some amazing hyperbole, A+ bait.
The band owes you nothing. You made the decision to buy their music. They didn't ask you to. They made music, you liked it, and you bought it of your own accord. Quit being a child and move on if you don't like the band's direction, because they sure as hell don't like people like you. Personally, I think they'd have every right to say "fuck you" to people who accuse them of being sellouts for making the music they like. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate the cameraman's shaking of the camera for humorous effect?
