I have an avi. file on my digital camera and it will not delete. I have deleted all files off of my digital camera but when I go into the drive itself, the avi. file keeps coming back. I've tried deleting it out my camera, deleting the file from its drive, cutting and pasting it somewhere else but yet it won't go away. Anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks. Edit: I have a silver Casio Exilim EX-Z1000 10.1 mega pixels camera, if that helps.
I am not sure, but maybe try a file shredder like AbsoluteShield File Shredder? http://www.download.com/AbsoluteShield-File-Shredder/3000-2092_4-10113559.html?cdlPid=10164976 This isn't what it is meant for, but it may be a useful alternative way to delete something. And it overwrites the file with random characters or something so...you shouldn't be able to get it back.
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ Unlocker - one of the first things I install on a new windows install.
But I don't know if this is an unlocker needed issue. It isn't that she can't delete the file, just that after she does it return...
I haven't tried any of the suggestions yet. I've been busy all day. I will try tomorrow and will let you two know if it works.
