for their third album, what do yuo want to see different from the last two, or just for them to add on? me i say 1. a little bit longer, take awile and get 14 maybe fifteen great songs together! 2. some guitar solos, or longer gee-tar intros to songs, brad is great with guitar, he shoudl show it off. 3. a little bit of a mix up song style, instead of verse/choris/verse/choris/bridge/choris, maybe add a 3rd verse in there, and do some diferent things to the songs, i dont mind them like this, and there a few exceptions, such as Crawling and From the Inside, but it would be good to get some more variety. 4. just be Linkin Park, bring some of that killar tight sound!
I don't care what they do, as long as they do it good. I really want to see some guitar solos, though.
I would like to hear a song with another artist maybe aaron lewis again ... i know he worked on reanimation... but it would be cool to hear another song with him and linkin park ... i think they could do very good things together with a brandnew song from scratch
-Let Mike sing a little..hell 311 has two vocalists and neither exclusively raps or sings. Just switch things up. -Broader range of musical topics -Guitar solo's would be interesting... Whatever they bring out I'll eat up anyway.
-- Deep lyrics like the ones from Hybrid Theory. -- Some guitar solos, but no 2 - 3 min long ones. -- Heavyness, like Meteora. -- Darker lyrics (Suicide, Hate, etc).
I'd love to see come guitar solos and the CD should contain more than just music. I'd like to see more screensavers, videos, pics, making of's, and maybe some bio's. that would be kool.
I would love some more guitar work Also, the lyrics are getting repetitive (I know they like to stick to the same themes on their albums, but it would also be cool to hear some inspiring songs mixed into dark songs) No more all Chester tracks, it undermindes the meaning of Linkin Park and makes it suck live anyways (mike kinda stands there, lol). I think Breaking the Habit was a great song, but get some Mike in there and it could have been better. Meteora directions was better than HT (as far as guitar, bass, drums) so stay on that route. Bass solos, lol
I like the ideas that people have posted. I want LP to twist their samples again, kinda like they did with the Japanese Flute with Nobody's Listening, and Strings. Woah it would be cool and weird to take it to the next step and rap in front of a live jazz band. lol o yeah and solos at the end to fade out. It would be cool to edit and rerecord a demo they have done and make that a track. Maybe a song from the Xero Demo Tape, or dedicated or something like that. Another killer instrumental, that should be a tradition. More variety in the lyrics, more ideas. I think it would be hard for them to make it any longer because like they said "we are perfectionists" they can only do so much. and one more thing. Keep the music Linkin Park.
Darker lyrics are not necessary. I don't like "depressive" music. - Guitar solos (like many people said) - Good drum patterns (like on Meteora) - Less rapping, but more harmonics - Cool samples & sounds, more like HT - Yeah, a longer album!
-More of Mike singing! I love this idea! -A few guitar solos would be nice...But, as said before, no 3 minute ones! -Slightly broader range of topics...It does start to get just a little repetitive. -Mixed up song structures...a 3rd verse would be awesome. I also like it when the lyrics in the last chorus are different then the rest. Subtly though, not like a compeletly different chorus. -Now, Don Gilmore is great, but I'd be really interested to hear what LP songs would come out like with a different producer. But this is all nitpicking...
i dont mind really.. anything is fine because im definately going to get the next album.. LP albums are full of surprises.. hehe.. :chaz: hehe.. but i think more tracks.. and that mike should sing more...
