I just listened to this. and I wanted to say that despite this being a short comedic song, Chester sounds really good here. It's nice to hear some short screams, it's such a staple in Chester's singing and he's still doing it well. I hope that if the theme of LP7 allows for it, it's incorporated into a few songs. Even just one song with Chester going all out like Keys to the Kingdom or Blackout. But he is getting older and if he feels he doesn't want to sing those kind of songs live anymore, then that's fine. Nothing you can do about it. I don't want him to damage his voice for the sake of it, just saying he's awesome at it.
1. Nobody show this guy LPU8. 2. Have you heard of The Lonely Island? You do know they're completely comedy and that this song is a part of a movie they made parodying pop stars, right? 3. Also, there's no way this would have delayed the album. It sounds like Akiva and Jorma did the production and songwriting, then had Chester (and probably Mike) just walk in and record vocals with Andy. Then they went back to continue working on the album like an hour later probably while TLI worked with everyone else on the rest of the soundtrack. Unless this whole post is sarcastic, calm down.
I sincerely doubt that this little song had any effect on the timeline of the new album Someone is being dramatic...
Yes, the 30 minutes or so of work it took to throw a Chester vocal hook on a shitty 2-minute Lonely Island track and then copy-paste parts accordingly is what's holding up the new album.
The beginning of this song reminds me of Hardly Breathe and the last Verse sounds like a backstreet boys song.
I'm pretty sure crazygolfer was joking and/or being sarcastic you guys . Although it's depressing and perhaps a sad commentary on the state of the fanbase, that people can't be sure whether someone's angry sounding post is a joke or not. LP fans are so over dramatic
I know I'm a day late but this song was pretty much what I expected, aside from Chester's screams. I did not expect to hear him screaming on a comedy track, but that made it even better. He sounds, decent. I'm cautiously optimistic of how he'll sound on LP7. Between this and the Kanye track that premiered yesterday, I prefer this
So yeah, they confirmed it's not Andy but Akiva rapping in the song. And is the first part of that answer hinting that Chester is in the movie?
Yes, we really can't tell if someone is being serious or sarcastic these days. LP has one of the most polarizing fanbases ever.
