I seriously can't relate to this show not because I don't like it but just doesn't have time. Although, my mom and bro are big fans of the show like seriously. When I went home last Christmas, all I heard from my brother was about The Walking Dead. I just can't believe Mom saying "walkers". It's like she really knows about the detail of the show. lol
I finished the second volume of the comic yesterday, and I've really enjoyed it thus far. It's really interesting to see how the television show adapted and changed the comic material the way it did. Volumes three and four are on the way.
There are even more changes coming your way.. Stoked for Issue 106 on Wednesday. The last two issues have been pretty good, but the run-up to 107 has me scared for Rick's psyche. Again.
Are you going by the trade paperbacks or the hardcover books? If you're going by trades you don't get to meet him until 5. After awhile you just get use to Charlie because that's all you see. Tony's style was slightly more cartoony with the main characters, so that helped with some of the innocence and such with the characters early on. It's most notable on Rick and Carl.
I'm not bothered about when I meet him, but I'll sure as hell be once I do. I'd say that is one way to put it. I can't complain because I'm about sixteen volumes late. Haha.
You will be. You, will be. And then you'll probably end up enjoying some things you'd otherwise be repulsed by.
If you don't mind digital comics and you would like to see fans flipping their shit, get the individual issues and read the "Letter Hacks" some peoples anger at certain events are down right hilarious. BTW Letter Hack Spoiler in INVISIBLE Steven Yuen, the actor who plays Glenn, wrote into the letter hacks around issue 99-106. That's all I'm saying about that, other than I almost died from laughing.
I started with individual issues at 103, so my collection is rather new. And his letter is in 102. And that's great stuff. Here's the spoilerific letter with an unspoilerific URL.
I knew exactly which issue his letter was in but I felt that if I said it specifically it might hint at something and would be easier to spoil.
Hawk's over 80 issues away. And that just leaves enough room to deduce that something happens before Issue 102. Plenty of things happen before 102.
It's pretty easy to make the connection and thus take a stab at what y'all are talking about, but I'm not worried, I'm far away and I'm sure I'm in for some more badass shit before then.
Pretty much. But like I've said, tomorrow worries me... EDIT: And the 106 previews aren't helping me at all... http://cdn.bloody-disgusting.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/walkingdead1064.jpg http://cdn.bloody-disgusting.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/walkingdead1065.jpg Still, Comic Carl.. <3 And do I really need to warn that previews from Issue 106 are spoilerific on multiple levels?
Still a month left until the next episode is out. Can't wait! I just hope that no shit happens at that episode, because as far as I know, shit happens.
Well, we were left with the cliffhanger of Merle and Daryl in thing ring at Woodbury, and they will inevitably escape. But some shit will have to happen. It'll be an interesting second half for Andrea for sure. Hopefully she can go back to being Andrea instead of the Governer's bimbo. Gotta love how AMC spoils the cliffhanger literally seconds after it's set up..
I hope she falls of a cliff and is then eaten alive, unable to move. Mwhahahahhaaaaaa! That was hilarious.
I read the preview and the 106 spoilers. It's an okay issue, the end of it makes you kind of on edge though. But if you're a evil sort of guy like me, you want some mayhem anyway.
Oh great, so after living with suspense for the past few weeks there'll be even more for February's issue. The more you read the comic the more you'll switch that to AMC for what they did to her.
