There are some spoilers out there. I'm not going to tell you where but I will tell you that if you like both of the Dixon's you're going to be upset.
No surprise there. And I loved Daryl.... By the way, I just recently watched "Arrow on the Doorpost". I'm really happy it's a calm-before-the-storm episode, with Daryl & Martinez and Milton & Hershel doing some epic bromance bonding. The episode showed a softer side of the Governor, but at the same time, displayed him as once again a backstabber. To be honest, I'm excited to see what happens to Milton and Andrea in the next episode, since they're the only characters which I KNOW has redemption.
Hmm invisy.. You know, I've been thinking Daryl's on a short leash. He was suppose to get that new crossbow next season, why'd he get it so early now? I'm thinking he takes Tyreese's spot in the comic as the eventually headless hostage. If they kill Beth it's got to be in the same fashion as Lori's comic death. Though that may be a bit much for some to watch. Still, no idea what this means for Tyreese...
Major spoilers for episode 15. Not the upcoming one but the one after. The Governor captures Merle and they fight, Gov has him in a choke-hold and it looks tipsy for a while, with the Gov resorting to BITING off Merle's fingers but ultimately Merle is killed and becomes a zombie and has a bullet wound in his chest. Like I said, I'm definitely not gonna say how I know this either.
I doubt next season will be great, it's still going to be 16 episodes. Unless they make two mini seasons the plot is still going to be stretched out until it becomes stalemate again.
Well, Scott Gimple is showrunner next season so I'm hopeful. I mean, look at the episodes he wrote: "Save the Last One", "Clear", "18 Miles Out", "Pretty Much Dead Already" and "Hounded". Then again, he wrote Ghost Rider 2.
Trimming the fat and proceeding with the hunters arc is nice for that, though already touched on Rick going crazy and visiting crazy Morgan.
There a couple characters that were listed that I do not want to see go....specifically because there are so many places they can go and they have the best character arcs so far.
And such is life. As long as the writers back off from pulling a Kirkman; killing someone off when the impact of the story isn't as good as it could be. At least Abraham should show up next season...
This entire season has been quite annoying so far, and I'm really starting to lose my patience with it. Hopefully the finale pays off.
WHO WRITES THIS SHIT?!?! Ridiculous. I facepalmed myself to death. Edit: Seriously, closely following the finale of Lost, that was the dumbest 40 minutes of TV I have ever seen.
Yeah, the show is getting pretty shit. The tension is superficial, and the main antagonist is flat. There is absolutely nothing intimidating about the Governor.
